Counseling Biblical counseling is a vital part of a church community. With the Pastor or another mature Christian, we are encouraged to "spur one another on toward love and good deeds." (See Hebrews 10:24-25). Biblical accountability and counsel are necessary for growth to maturity. We encourage people to develop meaningful relationships with one another, helping each other when one falls (Ecclesiastes 4:10), and keeping each other sharp (Proverbs 27:17). In some cases, specific pastoral or professional counseling is necessary. In such cases, Gateway stands ready to serve and support the body of Christ (the church and its attendees).
Oasis Gateway provides assistance to Gateway individuals and families, missionaries, and people from our local communities. Based on the nature of the need, the availability of aid, and the leading of the Holy Spirit, we seek to help when possible. Applications are available at the church office and at worship services.
A Meal While You Heal ...exists to provide meals for people who are going through or recovering from surgery, sickness, childbirth, and other trials or events which leave them unable to easily provide meals for themselves. Folks from the Gateway are contacted to make a meal for the whole family of the person in need. This ministry is a true blessing to those in need.
Loaves and Fishes ...is a Gateway web page that matches people who are in need with those who are able to give and serve.
