LINC Ministry ... "Love in the Name of Christ"

Mission Statement: Our Goal is to love the people of our area into a relationship with Jesus Christ.  Jesus calls us to be His hands and feet in a lost and hurting world; to offer people hope and a new way of life.

Vision: To reach out to our area communities, showing a genuine friendship, compassion and a humble spirit.  By meeting the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the people we interact with, we pray they will be drawn into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Activity 1: Take a cookie plate to Gateway's first-time visitors: letting them know that we are glad they visited our church, see if they have any questions and find out where they are in their relationship with the Lord, pray with/for them, and invite them back to another Gateway service.

Activity 2: Take a cookie plate, card, and Gateway information to people who are having a difficult time in their lives (illness, death in the family, financial troubles, etc.). Find out where they are in their relationship with the Lord, pray with/for them, and invite them to come to a Gateway service.

Activity 3: Visit others we hear of that may need a bit of kindness and caring.

We meet on Wednesday nights at the downtown Ministry Center. If you have any questions or would like to join us, call the church office at 387-4283.

How you can help:

*Pray for this ministry

*Bake for these visits

*Come to the meetings

*Come on the visits with us

*Refer names of people you know who could use a visit

*Provide outreach suggestions

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
